Moraira-Teulada is a calm municipality of the Costa Blanca with an important tourist-services network active throughout the year. The coastline direction and the its surrounding-mountains position allow a microclimate that guarantees an annual average temperature of 18 degrees. Respect to the environment has been one of the constants of the urban development of the municipality, which allows the enjoyment of a respected native natural landscape with more than 2.000ha of green zone where vineyards and pine groves stand out.
The different residential zones that populate the municipality are located in the very nature, with good equipment and easy access by road. The traditional fishing port of Teulada, Moraira, is nowadays the commercial and coastal services axis of Teulada. Its 8 kilometres of coast alternate fine sand beaches as El Portet or L'Ampolla with quiet rocky coves as L'Andragó or El Cap Blanc.
Municipality's 32 km2 area, embraced by the urban settings of Teulada and Moraira and kissed by the marine waters of the beautiful bay, is a green-and-white sea of residences blended with vegetation and cultivation zones. Diverse paths of Arabic-resonant names cross the whole municipalty. Teuladian landscape ofeers very attractive excursions and views, taking advantage of its 185m unevenness to reach the sea and characterised by low knolls, terraced vineyard fields and green pine groves surprisingly splashed over the municipality. Excursion lovers may ascend from the Portet Beach to the Cap d'Or Watchtower, go to Castellons, where a splendid view of the municipality can be enjoyed, or go to the Hermitage of the Holy Fount, which lodges the source from where water always springs up. On foot or by bicycle, it's possible to travel through Teulada and to contemplate the extensive vineyard crops, as well as admiring the beautiful rural constructions called 'riuraus', in which arched porches muscatel grape dried off until not many time ago.
